The average American spends 40 minutes per day on Facebook. That is an incredible statistic and it is getting bigger each year.

A poll showed that 91% of people said they felt more comfortable doing business with a company that has a Facebook page.

Because Facebook is personal. People feel like a company cares if they are willing to be present and active on Facebook.

Another poll showed that 88% of business owners who have an ACTIVE Facebook page feel it is beneficial to their business.

The key word in that last sentence is “active”.

If you are going to have a page, don’t post once every few months when you are trying to drum up new business. Posting 3 to 5 times per week with helpful, interesting and even humorous content will make people appreciate your involvement and they will be more inclined to “like” your page and probably…
